“Noticeable daily energy boost. I was hesitant about giving myself shots, but the process was much easier than I thought. In the first two weeks, my midday slumps practically disappeared. I have a steady energy that lasts into the evening, and I’m more clear-headed at work. It’s not a spike like coffee – more like my body’s baseline energy has improved. I’m truly impressed.”

“Better workouts and faster recovery! As a fitness enthusiast, I started NAD+ to support my training. The results have been fantastic – I feel less exhausted after long runs, and my muscles aren’t as sore the next day. It’s like my tank refills quicker. Plus, doing the shots at home is simple (the needle is tiny!). This has become my secret weapon for better endurance and recovery”

“Overall vitality and focus. The injections give me a noticeable kickstart – my mornings are more productive and I’ve cut down on caffeine. Over the last month, I’m sleeping better and waking up refreshed. Even my family noticed I seem more ‘perkier’ and in a good mood. The convenience of doing this at home, with a doctor a message away, makes it totally worth it.”

This will be personalized by your provider. A common regimen for wellness is 2–3 injections per week to start, but it can vary. Some patients do smaller daily injections, while others do a larger dose weekly – it depends on your goals and how you respond. Your Serena Health clinician will recommend a dosing schedule that makes sense for you, and we can adjust monthly. Because NAD+ builds up cellular benefits over time, consistent use for at least 4–8 weeks is suggested for full effect. We make it easy to stay on track with refill reminders and follow-ups.
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells, crucial for converting food into energy, repairing DNA, and regulating cellular health. As we age, NAD+ levels decline significantly, which is linked to fatigue, slower metabolism, cognitive fog, and other signs of aging. By replenishing NAD+ through injectable therapy, we aim to restore that vitality currency in your cells – helping support better energy production, mental clarity, and longevity. It’s like giving your cells the fuel they need to perform optimally.
Our NAD+ Injectable is designed for subcutaneous (SubQ) self-injection, meaning you use a very small needle to inject into the fatty layer just beneath your skin. Common sites are the abdomen, thigh, or back of the upper arm. The needles are ultra-fine insulin needles, so most people find the injections very tolerable (often describing it as a 2 out of 10 on a discomfort scale). And if you ever need help, our medical team is just a message away to walk you through it.
The injection process is relatively gentle; the needle pinch is minor and over in seconds. You might have a little redness or soreness at the injection site afterward – this usually goes away quickly. Some first-time users report mild headaches, flushing or warmth, or slight nausea after a dose, but these effects are typically transient. We start you on a personalized dosing schedule to minimize side effects. Every person is different, but in general NAD+ therapy is well-tolerated. If you do experience any persistent discomfort, our providers will work with you (adjusting the dose or frequency) to improve your experience.
Potential Side Effects
Although NAD is safe to administer, like all medications, it can cause specific side effects when introduced to the human body. Potential side effects might include:
- Blood presure fluctuations
- Nausea or vomiting
- Dizziness
- Hot flashes
- Liver and kidney complications
If side effects continue or worsen, be sure to contact your healthcare provider right away.
We understand not everyone is comfortable with injections. Our team is here to help you overcome that fear with guidance and support – but if you decide needles are absolutely not for you, Serena Health does offer a NAD+ Nasal Spray option. The nasal spray delivers NAD+ through a quick spray into your nose, no needles involved. It’s a more gentle daily-dose approach, whereas injections are a higher-dose, periodic approach. Some patients even start with the nasal spray and later transition to injections when they’re ready. We’ll support you in whichever route helps you reach your wellness goals.
Currently Serena Health operate in the Florida state only. Safety is our top priority. NAD+ Injectable is a prescription compounded medication, which means one of our licensed physicians will review your health information and must authorize it for you. We only dispense through our certified U.S. pharmacy partner. NAD+ occurs naturally in the body, and restoring it is generally very safe. That said, it’s not for everyone – if you have uncontrolled health issues (like certain heart conditions) or you’re pregnant/breastfeeding, our providers will likely advise against NAD+ or recommend alternate approaches. We screen for any contraindications during your intake. Rest assured, all treatments are supervised by medical professionals and we use pharmaceutical-grade NAD+ tested for quality and purity.
